A fashion design project for Harper's Bazaar: NEWGEN 2019 competition.
PARA//E/ CO// presents a fun and feminine array of pastels and texture with an athleisure vibe, comprising of soft draped effects, full sleeves to some more structured and textural pieces.
The inspiration comes from a personal observation/realisation and transitory phases in life. Moments when doubts and uncertainty begin to wear off and moments when it all comes back – are all conveyed into solid objects and lineworks – in which you realize these wavering forces are really just an illusion.
SIN OF SLOTH
A shortlisted competition project for Men's Folio: Designer of the Year competition. Inspired by one of the 7 sins- sloth,
Sloth is often considered to be the lightest of the 7 sins, yet it is also a sin of undesire, of unfeeling and of desolation.
This project was made for the Japan Sakura Collection Competition. It is inspired by traditional Japanese garments, wide silhouettes and Yayoi Kusama.
FLORAL IN BLOCKS
FLORAL IN BLOCKS presents dresses inspired by modern housing architecture that is infused and built around nature.
This project speaks also to two of my other hobbies and passion - a living space and flower arrangements.

TIME TRAVELS infuses both the whimsical Edwardian style of Howl in the animated film, HOWLS MOVING CASTLE and the silhouette of a traditional kimono.
Prints on the shirt-cape are done via silkscreen and a paintbrush to give an air-brushed effect. Motifs are inspired by imaginative elements of the film.
The deconstructed shirt /cape can be worn in typically two-ways, or more depending on how one styles it.
